Last year, Dr. Wayne became aware of a sweet toddler friend named Tanner who was in a serious health crisis that involved a compromised immune system and low blood levels. Prior to this, Dr. Wayne had just become certified in Nambrudipad’s Allergy Elimination Technique. He knew in his heart he had to try to use his newly acquired tools to help. So he hit the road on a Saturday morning and did a home visit to their place in Arkansas, due to Tanner’s isolation. He treated him for month’s following. Here is Tanner’s story verbatim from his Mom, Megan:
“February 11 we were in Colorado on a family vacation, Tanner developed a rash that we thought was dry skin. Over the next few days we noticed extreme bruising on the lower legs moving slowly up the body and to the head. We visited his pediatrician for his 18-month well check and became aware of how serious his condition really was. We were admitted to Children’s Hospital in Little Rock for a week after many tests and no diagnosis. Doctors suspected Tanner had Bone Marrow Failure, a condition only to be resolved by a Bone Marrow Transplant.
March 2nd, we came home, being told doctors would monitor him for the next 6 months and see if there was any change in his condition, and that isolation was the safest thing for him as he had no immune system function at all.
March 7th Tanner had only 3,000 platelets remaining of the 98,000 he had on March 2nd. March 10th Dr. Tompkins began NAET work with Tanner. Blood tests fluctuated over the next several weeks.
March 13th Tanner was tested and had zero platelets so was given an infusion. After that infusion is when we started seeing his body hold onto cells.
March 20th he had 3,000 platelets.
March 28th he had increased to 19,000 on his own, without any infusions. This was the point we knew that the NAET treatments were doing something for his little body. Dr. Wayne continued treatments for the next 8 months, nearly every week, and slowly his cells began to show some normality again. 3 different times we worked with the “virus” vial, and once the clearings were done, he would have better test results and all three of his blood lines would rise a little more with each week of blood tests.
While we never got a medical diagnosis for what Tanner had or what was wrong, doctors could only conclude that he had a very bad virus stemming from having RSV when he was 16 months old and that the virus embedded so deeply, that it wiped out his bone marrow to the point he only had 10% of the marrow he should have had.
Without NAET treatments, Tanner would have been facing a Bone Marrow Transplant at 2 years old because there was nothing more the medical teams could do to help his little body recover.”
Kudos to Tanner’s parents for all the efforts to help their little son and for entrusting Dr. Wayne with his health. We miss him around here as he was our designated flower waterer! Our front desk receptionist even bought him his own watering can, that was reserved for only his germs!
Dr. Wayne notes: Tanner’s body was not assimilating vital nutrients that help the body build bone marrow. Bone marrow is the precursor to red blood cells (that carry oxygen), white blood cells (that fight infection) and platelets (that allow the blood to clot when we injure ourselves). NAET uses a combination of principles including allopathic, chiropractic, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and applied kinesiology. It is not intended to treat or cure disease, but eliminate the interference that is hindering the body’s ability to heal itself.
